Logo & Web Design for St. Louis Area Based Titanium Fastener Manufacturer/Store
Posted by Justen Hong in Website/Web Design on January 12, 2012
Visual Lure was recently contracted to design a logo and website for RaceTech Titanium, an Edwardsville, IL based company that sells Titanium fasteners for motorcycles, race cars, dragster, mountain bikes and more. The final logo is show below, the large logo on top, along with some of our other logo design options.
Since the mass majority of their clients are in some type of racing industry, the logo design they chose features a “finish flag” in the circular motion in which it is waved at the end of a race.

Logo Design for New York Photographer
Posted by Justen Hong in Logo Design, Identity & Branding, Website/Web Design on December 8, 2011
Visual Lure was recently contracted to design a logo for Tony Calarco, a very talented New York based photographer and owner of Tony Calarco Photography. He wanted to start building a fashionable, modern, high-end looking brand, so in the development of the new look we explored multiple sans-serif and script style typefaces. In the end, we went with a unique customized sans-serif type. We also created a complementary icon that he can use as a watermark, in background images, etc.
We are currently in the planning stages of redesigning his website, but feel free to check out his photography at www.tonycalarco.com.
Check back soon for news about his new website design.

Logo Design for a Collection of High-End Photography Albums
Posted by Justen Hong in Logo Design, Identity & Branding on October 3, 2011
Once again Salvatore Cincotta Photography has turned to Visual Lure to design a new logo. They are in the process of launching a new collection of high-end photography albums. The new album line will be called The Signature Collection. The only direction we received from Sal where these five words: elite, rich, boutique, modern and artisan.
I imagine the logo will be embossed into leather, possibly even stamped into metals or carved into wood, so the logo needs to be simple. Below are our initial proposed logo designs. The top left logo features a stack of photo albums that create the letter “S”. The top right logo features a “SC” monogram which stands for both Signature Collection & Salvatore Cincotta. The bottom left logo features a stack of three albums, the top two create the letter “S” and the bottom one creates the letter “C”. The bottom right logo simply features an elegant script font. Check back soon to see where these initial logo designs take us.

Logo Design for St. Louis Metro East Real Estate Listing Service
Posted by Justen Hong in Logo Design, Identity & Branding on August 17, 2011
Visual Lure recently completed a new logo for the Southwestern Illinois Regional Multiple Listing Service, most commonly referred to as the SIR-MLS. They requested that their new logo have an icon that reflected data delivery and real estate, with a focus on residential properties. The chosen logo design (shown below) on top depicts homes which represent residential real estate and the “wire looking” typography which represents “data delivery”. Below the chosen logo design are a couple logo design options that we not selected.

Logo Design for St. Louis, MO Gas Station and Premium Car Wash
Posted by Justen Hong in Logo Design, Identity & Branding on July 13, 2011
Visual Lure was recently contracted to design a logo for a new gas station and premium car wash coming to St. Louis, MO. All the logos displayed below feature two E’s from the initials of Edison Express. I think my favorite logo is the one on the bottom right. It is simple, strong, and the second E (which represents Express) has “motion lines” that create the first E. Stay tuned for the final logo design…

Logo Design for St. Louis Area Photography Company
Posted by Justen Hong in Logo Design, Identity & Branding on May 2, 2011
Visual Lure was recently contracted to design a logo for a St. Louis Metro East photography company. During our initial design consultation they asked for some type of hand scripted font. With this direction, we came up with the logo on the left. We believe it is unique, personable and friendly, which we feel is perfect for a photography business. This was the final logo they ended up going with. The “nine flashes” logo on the right was another option we came up with while brainstorming/sketching. It was not chosen, but we figured we’d show it anyway, for those who like to see some of our other solutions.

Logo Design Upgrade for St. Louis Metro East Trucking, Construction & Excavating Company
Posted by Justen Hong in Logo Design, Identity & Branding on February 4, 2011
We run into logo design inconsistencies all the time. Companies that have multiple versions of their logo, versions using different colors, different fonts, etc. Sometimes the logo has been created by a designer, or recreated by a “shirt or sign guy”, lacking the skills and attention to detail needed to properly and professionally convert it. This can lead to having a different logo on the company’s letterhead than they have on their trucks or even their business cards. These inconsistencies can have a negative impact on your image and brand. Anyway, in the process of designing a new website, we recently updated, cleaned-up and modernized the logo below. While staying true to the original logo, we strengthened it by bolding and enlarging the now cleaned-up font, we integrated the road so it doesn’t look like a separate design element, and we italicized it to add movement and motion. If you would like to upgrade your identity or logo give us a call at 618-407-9231 or email us at info@visuallure.com.
