Logo Design for a Photography Editing Company
Posted by Justen Hong in Logo Design, Identity & Branding on January 25, 2012
Visual Lure was recently contracted to design a logo for a photography editing/post production studio that “evolves” photographs into art. The client requested that the logo be “artsy” and somehow portray evolution, so we found a typeface that felt like it was transforming and we customized it. We meticulously manipulated the pinstripe curves and loops to give it a feeling of motion and balance. Visual Lure also assisted in the naming of the company.

Logo Design for New York Photographers Specializing in Boudoir Style Photography
Posted by Justen Hong in Logo Design, Identity & Branding on December 12, 2011
Visual Lure was recently contracted to design a new logo for Boudoir Rocks, a New York team of photographers that specialize in boudoir style photography. They really wanted the new logo to have a hidden meaning or a symbol that was integrated into the design somehow. They also wanted a separate design element that they could use as a watermark. Below are our initial logo design options that we provided to our client. All the logo designs show horizontal, vertical and watermark options.
The logo design below features a “tattoo style” heart and arrow that create the letter B. We figured what is more “rock” than a tattoo, right? Both the typefaces used in “boudoir” and “rocks” where hand drawn and converted into vector art.

The next logo features a brassiere that creates the letter B. We custom illustrated the bra so that it complemented the style of the typeface:

Our final logo design option features a simple monogram made out of the letters B and R:

Logo Design for New York Photographer
Posted by Justen Hong in Logo Design, Identity & Branding, Website/Web Design on December 8, 2011
Visual Lure was recently contracted to design a logo for Tony Calarco, a very talented New York based photographer and owner of Tony Calarco Photography. He wanted to start building a fashionable, modern, high-end looking brand, so in the development of the new look we explored multiple sans-serif and script style typefaces. In the end, we went with a unique customized sans-serif type. We also created a complementary icon that he can use as a watermark, in background images, etc.
We are currently in the planning stages of redesigning his website, but feel free to check out his photography at www.tonycalarco.com.
Check back soon for news about his new website design.

Visual Lure was recently contracted to design a logo for Clarus Photography, a Valdosta, Georgia husband and wife photography team. Their company name, Clarus, is Latin for clear, bright, illustrious and illuminating. Directly below is our favorite proposed logo design which we feel is bright, colorful and illuminating.

Clarus Photography also requested an “ornate crest” logo option that was contemporary and modern, which you can see below at the top right along with a couple other logo design options we provided. Check back soon to see which logo our client chooses.
